Event: By Donation Outdoor Hatha Yoga Session
Backyard Apiary and Detroit Bird City Celebration
July 13 8:30-9:30AM
Registration here
(Limited to 12)

One-hour practice session (hatha with pranayama and meditation. Walk across the street afterward for a little food, an opportunity to plant something in the garden (native plants provided by Detroit Audubon), and to learn more about the Detroit Bird City (DBC) project. Bring a yoga mat or blanket, any props or water - you can practice on the deck or the lawn. Street parking.

🐝About practice in the apiary: honey bees do not sting unless they are threatened or provoked. We have yet to have any stings in the yard, even during the hive inspections. However, shit happens. I have no direct control over where bees fly or land, so if you are frightened of bees or if you have reactions to bee venom, you may want to sit this one out - but you can still visit the DBC opening celebration from 9-12PM across the street. :)
