LOSS, GRIEF, and TRAUMA: SHADOW CONFIRMATION SESSIONS
In life, there are no guarantees. Shadow confirmation sessions offer a protected space to visit the depths of loss consciously. When grief weaves it’s way through the fragments of a shattered heart we don’t need to “fix ourselves, rather, we need to honor our feelings. These sessions offer the time and space to honor the profound love we have experienced and the transformative path our spirit undertakes. They create a supportive environment that embraces all forms of loss, whether it's the death of a loved one, the journey through peri/menopause, going through a divorce or separation, battling depression or anxiety, dealing with job loss, injury or illness, facing difficulties in friendships or communities, or navigating the postpartum period.

Through sensation, sound, scent, and energy movement, we use the body as a sacred field to navigate the realms of your experience.

Death Doula

If you’ve practiced yoga, you’ve experienced death preparation: shavasana literally means “corpse pose” and is a method for readying ourselves for the dying process. As a healing arts practitioner I help people leverage yoga, meditation, breathwork, and philosophy as a portal for deep contemplation, grief acknowledgement, and embodiment. My work occurs in homes and community-spaces with physicians and mental health therapists. Sessions can also take place in my home studio.

I’m part of the “Death Positive” movement. I’m a graduate of Going with Grace (GWG), a school for End of Life Education and Planning and a certified Death Doula. I support clients and their families during times of loss and grieving. I was a board member of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Michigan, a volunteer-run nonprofit that was dedicated to helping Michiganians make dignified, meaningful and affordable funeral arrangements.
